Michael Cassara Casting has recently become the resident casting office for the White Plains Performing Arts Center, an exciting new regional theatre just 35 minutes north of New York City in Westchester County. Kicking off the 2008-2009 season will be a special concert production of Camelot starring Robert Cuccioli as Arthur.

The inaugural season of the Stephen Sondheim Center for the Performing Arts in Fairfield, IA, will kick off with the award-winning musical A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Directed by Randal K. West, the Sondheim Center's founding artistic director, the musical comedy will play the Iowa venue Jan. 11-27. The cast will feature Richard Kind as Pseudolus, Joel Blum as Senex, Stephen DeRosa as Marcus Lycus, Sean McCall as Hysterium and Steve Wilson as Miles Gloriosus.

Original cast members from the musicals of Stephen Sondheim celebrated the gala opening of the Stephen Sondheim Center for the Performing Arts in Fairfield, Iowa Dec. 7-9.

The Yellow Wood is a musical kaleidoscope where not-so-normal 17-year old Adam takes a fantastic, unpredictable journey as he struggles to accept all the parts of himself: his ADD, his Korean heritage and his complex relationships with friends and family. The Yellow Wood explores the angst, joy and highly imaginative state of one teen's amazing brain.

Eleven New Yorkers change course after 9/11 forces them to examine why they moved to New York and to decide whether they'll stay. CLEAR BLUE TUESDAY follows their lives over the course of six years, each year on a Tuesday in September, as they try to achieve the dreams that drew them to the city. A montage of songs, collage and unconventional narrative style, CLEAR BLUE TUESDAY is a visceral journey of self-discovery in the face of adversity.
