Sheila Smith (Madame Armfeldt) was born at an early age and has been performing ever since. Broadway debut: Ziegfeld Follies '56 followed by Fiorello!, Hot Spot, To B'way With Love, Mame, Follies, Company, Sugar, Five O'Clock Girl, 42nd Street and Show Boat (revival). National/International tours: Equus, Forty Carats, Mame, No No Nanette, Sound Of Music, Fade Out- Fade In (Tivoli Circuit-Australia) and La Cage Aux Folles. Notable Regional work includes: Isn't It Romantic, Present Laughter, You Can't Take It With You, Side By Side By Sondheim, Cat & The Fiddle and My Fair Lady. Sheila received the Theatre World Award - Mame, San Francisco Critics Award - Follies, Kent State University's Special Arts Achievement Award and is enjoying a grand reunion with Mark Jacoby, her favorite singing attorney and Jack Batman, her favorite producer.
